I’m Andrea Jordan and I love to explore.

I’m a Kiwi (not the fruit or the bird, it’s important to get that right from the start) and I love this beautiful world of ours. I’ve had the good fortune to travel to over 50 countries and to all seven continents.

My aims are to encourage others to get out in nature, to explore this beautiful world of ours and to respect nature and her inhabitants.

I grew up on a sheep and cattle farm in New Zealand, in a tiny town called Kaukapakapa (said cow-copper-copper). My love of the land, and all things 4-legged, developed there.

Giving back is important to me. I’ve volunteered with the New Zealand Department of Conservation, on Tiritiri Matangi Island and D’Urville Island, with the SPCA (New Zealand),  The Elephant Nature Park and Care for Dogs (both in Northern Thailand), Playa Animal Rescue (Mexico) and Mayan Families, Hope for the animals (Lake Atitlan, Guatemala).

I’m a plastic free zone. I haven’t used plastic shopping bags for over a decade and I’m always looking for ways to continue reducing my impact on the planet. I believe our world is precious and needs to be protected.

My photos are available to purchase as prints. Take a browse through MY SHOP to purchase one for yourself, and one for a friend too.
